Raw Food Vs The
Cooked, American Diet
God's Way to Ultimate Health

By Dr. George H. Malkumu with Michael Dye

The Great American Rat Experiment The following is an account of an interesting three-part experiment comparing the effects of raw foods versus cooked foods with rats. This account is taken from a book titled "Goldot", by Lewis E. Cook, Jr. and Junko Yasui: "It has been found that a group of rats were fed diet of raw vegetables, fruits, nuts and whole grains from birth grew into completely healthy specimens and never suffered from any disease. They were never ill. They grew rapidly, but never became fat, mated with enthusiasm and had healthy offspring. They were always gently affectionate and playful and lived in perfect harmony with each other. Upon reach an old age, equivalent to 80 years in humans, these rats were put to death and autopsied. At that advanced age their organs, glands, tissues all body processes appeared to be in perfect condition without any sign of aging or deterioration. "A companion group of rats we fed a diet comparable to that of the average American and included white bread, cooked foods, meats, milk, salt, soft drinks, candies, cakes, vitamins and other supplements, medicines for their ails, etc. During their lifetime these rats became fat and, from the earliest age, contracted most of the diseases of modern American society including colds, fever, pneumonia, poor vision, cataracts, heart disease, arthritis, cancer and many more. "Most of this group died prematurely at early ages but during their lifetime most of them were vicious, snarling beasts, fighting with one another stealing one another's food and attempting to kill each other. They had to be kept apart to prevent total destruction of the entire group. Their offspring were all sick and exhibited the same general characteristics as there parents. "As this group of rats died one by one or in epidemics or various diseases, autopsies were performed revealing extensive degenerative conditions in every part of their bodies. All organs, glands and tissues were affected, as were the skin, hair, blood and nervous system. They were all truly total physical and nervous wrecks. The same condition existed in the few, which survived full duration of the experiment. "A third companion group of rats was fed the same diet as the second group to an age equivalent to about 40 years in humans. They displayed the same general symptoms of the second group being sick and vicious so that they had to be separated to prevent them from killing each other and stealing one another food. "At the end of this initial period all rats in this group were placed on a strict fast, with o water to drink for a period of several days. Then they received the natural (raw) diet o first group of rats. This diet was alternated with periods of fast and within one mouth behavioral pattern had changed completely so that the now docile, affectionate, playful creatures were once again able to live together in a harmonious society and from this point on never suffered any illness. "Several rates put to death and autopsied at the end of the initial period revealing the same general deterioration as that exhibited in the second group of rats. However, the remaining rats lived out the full duration of the experiment, to the equivalent of 80 years in humans, and when they were topside there were no signs of aging or deterioration or disease - just as those in the first group. The obvious disease, degeneration and deterioration of body parts evident in their first half of life had been completely reversed and excellent health restored. "The same principles apply to human life as there is only one TRUTH! Thus it may be concluded that sick people may be restored to health simply by choosing the proper diet, fasting observing the other rules of health. There is no mystery. There is no external force that will help all healing being accomplished within the body in accordance with the laws of organic life and health."

Levisteps a vegan...ask him
The whole family is. My dad went to the doctor for a checkup for his life insurance policy 10 years ago (age 45) and the doctor said he had the body of a 75 year old man. He's 55 now, and he went in for another checkup and the doctor said the only healthier guy he's ever seen was a marathon runner. His life insurance payments dropped and he's in much better shape now than 10 years ago. He changed his diet from the typical American diet to almost entirely raw foods, with a large portion of that being raw seeds and nuts.

The typical American diet is so disgusting. I go to Stop and Shop and everyone in there is huge. 50 year old women are using those motor carts because their bodies are so degraded. I've got to find a wife soon because it's game over for most women at age 30. There is a noticeable downward trend even in college. Something fun to do when i'm bored is to check facebook/myspace for all my old school friends to see how fat they've gotten.

I agree levistep. Being overseas for much of the last year and a half the thing that I find different is the size of the portions and the grease that foods are used to cook with. Americans want food fast so cooking in grease is a quick way to get food cooked.

I am unable to eat American portions of food now. I get full after about 2/3rds of the meal. I plan to continue to eat this same amount. I lost a lot of weight a few years ago when I went through my 2/3rds diet. I ate 2/3rds of what I usually ate.

I really like grilled foods. It contains far less fat than deep-fried foods.

Glad to hear your dad is eating well. It takes a little more effort to find better food and to not eat so much but it is worth the effort.

Personally I don't think you need to give up meats and Dairy but you can't deny the results of a vegan diet.
If you do all your shopping on the outside of the grocery store you are going to be better off. Fresh vegetables, Dairy, Breads and meats. Avoid Boxed and canned foods where possible.

It's true. I have been almost 100% vegan for 3 weeks and lost around 10 pounds. I havent been this light in maybe 5 years.

It's just been incredible. Your appetite is so easily curbed.

I'm having a hard time getting off cheese though, I dont know what to use instead. And I like cheese on a lot of stuff.

The Great American Rat Experiment The following is an account of an interesting three-part experiment comparing the effects of raw foods versus cooked foods with rats.

Experiment is one thing, a scientific study is another. If the premise is raw food vs. cooked food, the diets for each group of rats would be the same with the exception of one group would have their food cooked. What is it about raw foods that makes them more nutritious?

Given the rats had diametric diets, it is obvious there would be a different outcome for each group. That's like that idiot movie maker who ate at McDonald's 24/7 for a month and then proclaimed it to be unhealthy food! A real Einstein that one. I am waiting for his sequel: Water is Wet and Fire is Hot.

....sick people MAY be restored to health....

More great science here. That's like saying it may be concluded the Royals will win the WS by simply choosing Chuck Norris as a role model, reading all Joe Morgan books, and practicing the game of baseball.

WTF are the laws of "organic life and health?" Is that supposed to be the counterpart for the laws of synthetic death and sickness?

Beam me up, Scotty

Does the soy yogurt have sugar in it or is it sugar-free? I love the Silk vanilla soy milk on granola for breakfast. Silk vanilla soy milk has less sugar in it than cow's milk. You've heard of lactose right?

from their website
In the case of our Silk Live!® Soy Yogurt, sugar is required to help feed the live cultures.

the strawberry flavored one has 22g of sugar in the 6 oz serving. hard to say how much is from the fruit and how much added. i dont have one in front of me to read the ingredients. maybe LeviStep does.
